Euphrates: Arx Axiom Academy

Transitional Kindergarten - 5th Grade

A private nonprofit 501(c)(3) elementary school using classical education methods and unique community experiences to elevate education and instill Godly wisdom.

Our Culture

Our culture values community responsibility, academic achievement and overall brain health. Our students will learn in an environment that invites curiosity and teaches kindness. Your child will be known by name, taught they are worthy and valued simply for showing up. They will be encouraged to push themselves academically, be taught individual responsibility and invited to understand how God plays a role in every aspect of our lives

K-5TH Schedule:

Monday: At home learning day

Tuesday: 9AM-3PM

Wednesday: 9AM-3PM

Thursday: 9AM-3PM

Friday: There will be no direct instruction on Fridays, however all students will participate in a community experience or curriculum enrichment. A calendar will be produced monthly with specific times of these events.

**Our schedule is produced with concise days because we desire for our families to play a role in the development of their child. Whether that be trips to the library, tending to our community garden, or getting a few extra batting practices in before the big game our goal is to allow students and their families expansive experiences in and outside the classroom.

TK Schedule:

Currently being created. Will defer from K-5 schedule.

Dual Immersion

Elementary students will learn in a dual immersion environment. Dual immersion for us means your student will learn curriculum in Spanish + in English, based on their grade level. Studies have shown, when a person is bilingual they have overall elevated brain health and are better at tasks that require conflict management (see reference study here). These two factors are important to us in that they contribute to individual learning and the wellbeing of our community. We view this as a foundational skill because much like how a breakfast packed with protein helps students test better so too does being bilingual.

Unique Community Experiences

These community experiences will range based on grade level and will vary from learning to milk a cow at a local farm to helping clean a park in partnership with the city. Culturally our school will practice investing in people. That means we invest in each other and in our surrounding communities.  We desire to show students a way of life that brings unity in our differences. We believe this is best achieved by having experiences beyond the classroom.

Our Vision:

In creating our vision we first looked to scripture. In Proverbs 3:21-22 we read, “ do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you”. Our desire for our students is that by attending E:AAA they would grow to be students who seek God’s wisdom, have pride and joy in their friends and community, curiously seek knowledge and who delight in being critical thinkers.

We plan to help students be the best learners they can be by having a staff that teaches in the classic education methodology, are trauma informed and who finds joy in helping your student elevate themselves to learning standards they didn’t know were possible while seeing the beauty of God’s intent in every subject.
