Co-Op Option:
At Euphrates we love and support the Home-Educating families and therefore offer enrollment to students under a Co-Op status. You will be supported by a seasoned Homeschool Veteran Mom for the duration of your student’s education at Euphrates.
Below we provide a loose layout of what it means to be apart of our Co-Op option. We have provided this information in a Q+A styled format.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
If you are a private homeschooler, filing under a Private Affidavit in the State of California, your child is eligible to attend Euphrates under the status of Private Tutoring/Co-Op Classes.
WHAT DOES IT REQUIRE OF THE STUDENT?
Your student will still be expected to attend all scheduled instructional class times, including Friday Chapels/Community Experiences.
WHAT DOES IT REQUIRE OF THE PARENT?
The parent is responsible to file privately, keep records of all attendance, physical education, and transcript. Your child’s teacher will still be responsible for giving grades. The parent/family is expected to participate in the Euphrates community by serving at and attending events/community experiences, as well as retain an active membership to the HSLDA.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
Tuition is the full amount for the co-op student given the hours of classroom instruction and participation in all school events are the same. Families will be responsible for contributing registration fees as well as the one-time classroom supply list. In addition, any uniform requirements will need to be accounted for.
WHAT IF WE UN-ENROLL?
Given the importance of continuity in the Bilingual classroom, once your child has been un-enrolled from Euphrates, that spot will permanently be forfeited and will no longer be available for re-admittance at a later date.
WILL MY STUDENT BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS?
Yes, all students are welcome to submit applications for scholarships.
CAN I USE MY CHARTER FUNDS?
No, as an enrolled student of a charter school, you are already being educated through a specified public school according to the State of California. Euphrates is not categorized as an approved vendor and is therefore not eligible for any charter funds.
ANYTHING ELSE THAT MIGHT BE HELPFUL TO KNOW?
Yes, your child will be held to the same code of conduct as all students and will be expected to uphold those standards as outlined in Euphrates Character, Virtues & Disciplinary Protocol Agreement.
